Yashar koach to the JKHA middle school Debate Team on winning first place in their debate. JKHA debated against teams from Yeshivah of Flatbush, SAR and Yavneh. Four pairs of students from the JKHA Debate Team debated the resolution: The United States government should ban the use of the death penalty. In addition to JKHA placing as first place school in the debate, one JKHA student took home the second place individual speaker award and another debate pair won the second place team award. All of the JKHA debate teams students worked hard to research their arguments, meeting weekly with their faculty coaches and honing their presentations.
