Naaleh’s sophomore class embarked on an unforgettable two-day trip to Washington DC, filled with meaningful experiences and lasting memories. The trip began with a visit to the Holocaust museum, which set the tone for the importance of the trip. From there, the group continued on to the Israel embassy where they learned about the importance of a consulate and embassy and its relationship with the United States. They had a break for fun at Dave and Buster’s and then heard a powerful speech by Rav Aharon Lopiansky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Greater Washington. The following day was filled with important work, as the students lobbied on Capitol Hill for Israel and to combat antisemitism. They had the opportunity to meet with senators and congressmen and tour the Capitol building and monuments. The trip was deeply meaningful for all.
