(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Bris Avrohom celebrated Purim with an exciting, Israeli-themed “Purim in Israel” bash. Over 250 people participated in the fun-filled festival. Two consecutive megillah readings were held, one for the whole community and another for mothers and babies.

With the coordination of Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, who runs the Bris Avrohom stand at Newark Airport, a group of boys read the megillah multiple times at all three terminals of the airport. A special Purim party was arranged for the EL AL staff, with megillah reading and the distribution of mishloach manot. Bris Avrohom also organized megillah readings at private homes, senior centers and at correctional facilities, under the supervision of Rabbi Baruch Lepkivker.
