Project Ezrah Offers Assistance for Pesach

(Courtesy of Project Ezrah) The transition between Purim’s revelry and Pesach’s planning seems to come upon us more quickly with each passing year. This year, more and more of our neighbors are feeling the long-term effects of inflation and are finding it increasingly difficult to stay afloat financially. This, coupled with the additional stressors that come along with Pesach planning, can escalate conventional challenges into enduring financial problems.

Every year Project Ezrah significantly assists members of the community to make Pesach. This year we have already seen that the need is more widespread than in previous years. In order to reach more people who are in need of support, last year Project Ezrah opened a grant application for anyone in need of financial assistance for Pesach. We are proud to announce that those applications are again open on our website, Ezrah.org. These grants are intended to help relieve a bit of the stress of the holiday, and help families get what they need for Yom Tov. It also enables us to help members of our community access other resources that they may not know about. If you would like to apply for our Pesach grant, please go to our website, Ezrah.org, and fill out the application. Grants will be disbursed on a rolling basis. All applications must be submitted by March 27. If you are interested in donating to this initiative please go to Ezrah.org and click on the Maot Chittim Banner.
