JKHA eighth grade boys had the exciting opportunity to participate in the annual middle school Hagbah Training. With the correct technique and some practice, students learned how to properly perform this beautiful custom with confidence. Following the training, a record number of students received Hagbah Certification and are ready to go. This new skill will surely serve them well as they become full-fledged members of their minyanim and shuls for many years to come.
