TABC students and faculty gathered on Purim night to celebrate the chag in style. The hockey gym was transformed as strobe lights decorated the ceiling and walls, and students and faculty danced in costume. After the energetic dancing, students cooled off with some ice cream and Krispy Kreme. A fun night was had by all!
On Purim day, many students visited their rebbeim’s homes for food and dancing. Shushan Purim brought more fun to the building as the festivities commenced with a carnival run by Rabbi Jonathan Kessel and a select group of 12th grade students for the entire school. As music blasted through the gym, faculty and students alike played carnival games which included many classics including 3-Point Shootout, Golf Hole-in-One, How Many Candies in a Jar, Hockey Accuracy, Fish Bowl and more. Students were motivated to play and win with a variety of awesome prizes on the line. When all was said and done, over $2,500 was raised for Chai Lifeline. Later in the day there was a spirited game of faculty vs. student basketball game where the teachers gave it their all. Each period they faced off against a different grade, but alas, they were no match for the Storm!
