Purim at Bruriah was the culmination of weeks of fun-filled trips and activities that showcased Bruriah’s incredible ruach and stellar student-centered programming. For the fifth year running, Bruriah invited students and faculty to celebrate Purim together with a beautiful chagiga on Purim night with a lively Megillah reading and a delicious break-fast. Then, they spent the rest of the evening playing glow-in-the-dark Ping Pong, pool, air hockey and more. With music provided by Bruriah faculty and DJ extraordinaire Rabbi Yoni Korbman, the girls got into the Purim spirit and had an incredible time singing and dancing together.
As a commuter school, with students hailing from multiple communities, bringing the students together on Purim is particularly meaningful. Senior Nechama Linfield shared, “It was so special to be able to celebrate Purim with all of my friends as one community.”
The fun continued on Shushan Purim when Bruriah students and faculty headed to Campgaw for an epic day of snow tubing and bonding. What a fantastic conclusion to a beautiful Purim season at Bruriah High School!
