The Neil Klatskin Day Camp (NKDC) at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is offering an early-bird special, where families who register for the full eight weeks of camp by Friday, January 15, will save $240 on camp fees for a summer adventure of non-stop fun. At NKDC, campers enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make new friends and explore their personal interests. Program highlights include dynamic, age-appropriate programming in sports, Red Cross instructional and recreational swim, Tae Kwon Do, yoga, art, drama, music, Judaic programming, special events and more. The all-inclusive camp also provides lunch, snacks, towel service and camp swag, so it’s easy on parents, too.

The NKDC takes place on a beautiful 21+ acre campus that features three pools, a sprinkler park, sports facilities, a low ropes course with zip line, indoor rainy-day facilities and more. Children ages 3 and 4 are home-based in air-conditioned classrooms with head counselors who are certified teachers. Registration options include four weeks in a row (first or last four weeks) as well as five, six or seven weeks. NKDC offers children with special needs the opportunity participate, too! Designed to meet the special needs of children and adolescents who have mild neurological and/or perceptual impairment. Special attention is given to each camper, to ensure a summer filled with enjoyment and learning.

The $240 savings on the early bird special will be prorated for enrollment of less than eight weeks. These discounts cannot be combined with any others. Attending families who have never been a member of the JCC will also have the opportunity to join for a $250 summer membership that runs Memorial Day-Labor Day (with some restrictions), as membership to the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is required for NKDC enrollment. The JCC is offering additional membership options, including a new Camp Family Membership for $750 that runs Memorial Day-Labor Day as well. Shorter days for preschoolers and sibling discounts are also available: $350 off second child, $500 off third and fourth child, fifth child is free. And those who refer a friend get $100 off camp.
