The Jewish Educational Center’s RTMA division began a very special initiative this week. Students are raising funds in memory of Ezra Schwartz a”h and Yaakov Don a”h, both victims of Arab terror, Hashem yikom damam. The money raised will be given to Israeli high school students who are running a late-night mobile Pina Chama, literally “warm corner,” and a mobile eatery where soldiers can receive a free hot meal. RTMA’s goal is $3,000.
Ezra Schwartz’s mother Ruth Senecal Schwartz is a Bruriah alumna, class of 1989, and Yaakov Don, a”h was brother-in-law to Bruriah class of 1987 alumna Shifra (Teitz) Ben-Dor.
