BPY students were thrilled to be back outside in the GrowTorah garden with Farmer Yosef! The students are embracing spring preparing for Pesach (Chag Ha’Aviv) outdoors in the GrowTorah garden. They explored the garden for food to use for karpas and marror—finding different vegetables that meet the criteria for each. They also planted a lot of lettuce for marror and radishes for karpas. The garlic and kale planted in the fall overwintered well and are growing strong. Student especially loved the sweetness of the kale and were so happy to be back outdoors enjoying their beautiful garden and learning how to care for Hashem’s gorgeous earth.
