JKHA Learns for Meaningful Pesach

JKHA middle school students were busy preparing for Pesach in so many ways, both in their Gemara/Mishna classes and beyond. Sixth through eighth grade students were excited to participate in round robin Haggadah learning sessions with multiple teachers who shared their favorite insights on the Haggadah. Students brought home their middle school Haggadot which they used during the session and then shared what they learned with their families over Pesach. Fifth graders brought home their personalized Haggadot which seamlessly merged their learning of Sefer Shemot together with their learning of the Haggadah.

Sixth graders studied many lessons of hakarat hatov (gratitude) in their Chumash Bamidbar classes, and completed a “Dayenu” project, which combined the gratitude journals they have been working on with their own individualized dayneu. All grades also participated in a hands-on Moadim L’STEAMcha program which focused on Sefirat HaOmer.
