RYNJ middle school students were privileged to attend a Yom HaShaoh presentation by Rabbi Eliezer Abish this morning. Rabbi Abish’s mother and father were Holocaust survivors and this summer the family traveled to Europe to retrace the family’s history during the war. Rabbi Abish, using his masterful storytelling skills, with accompanying slides and video, told their story. Rabbi Abish is also a fifth grade rebbe at RYNJ.
