On Tuesday evening, December 29, Ma’ayanot’s Musical Theater Club invited women of the community to its much anticipated production of “Little Shop of Horrors.” The play was directed by Mrs. Joyce Heller (also a math teacher at Ma’ayanot), with musical direction by Mrs. Beth Selter. Proceeds from the evening went to Chai Lifeline’s Camp Simcha.

Ma’ayanot will invite the community to two additional productions this year. Auditions were recently held for the drama club’s production of “My Aunt’s Son Vinney,” which was written by Ma’ayanot senior Leora Kohn. Currently, Ma’ayanot seniors are organizing a production of Ma’ayanot’s infamous student directed and produced “Heartbeats: A Night of Song, Dance and Connection.”
