Rabbi Eli Gersten, rabbinic coordinator of the OU, addressed the RKYHS 11^th and 12^th grade Judaic elective classes on practical kashrut questions. He posed, “What’s the deal with Oreo cookies? Are they dairy?” and “How do I warm up food in a microwave while on vacation?” “Can I eat salad out?” Many great questions and discussions came out of his talk.
