This past Sunday evening the women, moms and teen girls of Elizabeth/Hillside got together for a Pre-Shavuot craft at Congregation Adath Israel. Led by Lisa of New Leaf Events, each woman or mother-daughter duo had the chance to create a stunning floral resin art tray to be used right in time for Shavuot. Fun filled the room as everyone spent time creating their boards and learning how to use resin to make the boards into striking masterpieces. It was amazing to see moms and their daughters bonding over such an activity, as well as everyone spending time with their friends doing such a fun project!

Once set, the trays are able to be used for desserts, candle sticks, challah or anything each person chooses. What made this event so special was that each tray that was finished was more unique than the next, as the women and teens of Hillside truly know how to bring out their artistic abilities. We can’t thank Lisa from New Leaf Events enough for such a perfect and beautiful pre-Yom Tov night out!
