Naaleh Readies Students for College

Naaleh’s inaugural College Fair, held on May 10, was a tremendous success, as sophomores, juniors and their parents attended an evening filled with informative presentations from representatives of numerous institutions. The event kicked off with a presentation from Rabbi Eli Buechler, who shared valuable insights about the OU/JLIC initiative on college campuses. The fair left students and parents feeling confident and well-informed about the college application process. To further prepare the juniors for their upcoming college application journey, Samantha Hauptman organized a college bootcamp. The program included dynamic sessions covering essential topics such as completing resumes and reviewing transcripts, and Elana Kook, Naaleh’s English Department chair, presented a session on “Exploring the Personal Narrative and What Makes an Effective College Essay.” Students had the opportunity to brainstorm ideas and left with a clear understanding of the expectations, setting them up for success.

Naaleh takes great pride in equipping its students with the tools they need to thrive in the college application process, ensuring they stand out among their peers.
