The traditional science fair model has had a major refresh at WTA’s second annual STEAM Expo. From 2 year olds through eighth graders, students welcomed grandparents, parents and special guests to experience their classroom learning. Early childhood students shared some of their Montessori works. From bubble making to pouring, cutting, spelling and mixing, the children were so excited to welcome their loved ones into their classrooms and show what they could do. Lower and middle school brought their learning outside into the courtyard to share the curriculum-tied math and science projects which featured everything from extreme temperature insulation to acids and bases, homemade lava lamps to animal survival and so much more.
