In commemoration of Yom Hazikaron, the RYNJ middle school talmidim and talmidot had the zechut to hear a presentation by Ofir Anidgar, a representative of the El Ami El Atzmi “Together for Them” delegation. As a member of this very special group, a cadre of wounded Israeli soldiers led by Ami Cohen, Ofir travels around the world sharing his story. Students, rebbeim and morot were mesmerized as Ofir shared stories about his life, his service in the IDF, the very serious injuries that he suffered as a unit commander searching for tunnels in Operation Tzuk Eitan, his rehabilitation and the support of his loving family. Everyone was inspired by Ofir’s bravery, his perseverance, his inner strength and his unwavering love of Eretz Yisrael.
