WTA Has Trips, Mesibot and More

This past week, Westchester Torah Academy students were learning and exploring all through time and space. Fourth graders celebrated their Mesibat Navi with an exhibition delving into the history of the 12 shevatim of Israel. Throughout their study of Navi, students have been focusing on particular tribes, and their study culminated with a fair exhibiting 3-D models, costumes and a wealth of knowledge about their chosen shevet.

Traveling a little more locally, the first, seventh and eighth grades all took trips to learn about civics and community. Seventh and eighth grades focused on broader lessons, visiting Washington DC, touring the capitol and exploring the Holocaust Museum. In contrast, first grade focused on their home community, visiting the New Rochelle Fire Department, Police Department and so much more! Thanks to all the faculty and parents who made these trips possible and mazal tov to fourth grade on their hard work.
