Excitement was in the air on Monday morning! Students across the grades were invited to play a Lag B’Omer themed Kahoot, and at the end of the game they found out it was color war! Students then received their team T-shirts and went to the gym for an opening ceremony. In recognition of Lag B’Omer beginning that evening the color war teams were four elements: Eish (red), Shamayim (orange), Mayim (blue) and Adama (green). The students worked collaboratively with their teammates on activities such as a bucket brigade, wacky races, sports games, banners, STOMP, team songs, a Yerushalayim STEAM competition and so much more. They ended color war with a final presentation featuring a unity song. The teams gathered together to sing Matt Dubb’s,” Adama V’shamayim” which features each of the four elements. Everyone had an amazing time full of achdut and ruach and as the color war shirts showed, stepped up their ruach!
