Students at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies had an inspiring Shabbaton weekend at Surprise Lake Camp in Cold Spring, New York this past weekend. They participated in study sessions on various “big ideas” such as “Images of God,” “Soulmates,” “Free Will and Predetermination” and “An Exploration of Miracles.” They also enjoyed making s’mores, trying to figure out Mr. Nagler’s card game challenges and celebrating one BCHSJS student’s 18th birthday.
