The Shefa Center kicked off their virtual summer workshops last Monday, June 26. One of four workshops this summer, The Shefa Center will be gathering k-eighth grade educators looking to gain concrete tools, skills and frameworks for teaching multisensory reading and/or math. The first workshop of the summer focused on multisensory techniques for teaching reading, spelling and handwriting in the primary grades using the PAF Reading Program.

Their upcoming workshops will focus on teaching multisyllable words, multisensory math and long-vowels, homonyms and spelling rules all using the Orton-Gillingham technique. For more information on how to attend, visit shefaschool.org/the-shefa-center.
