Sunday March 20 was a very busy day for the Bergen County AIFL Flag Football participants. While the winter season was closing out at the Superdome Sportsplex in Waldwick, New Jersey, the 2016 spring season was getting underway with football drills and fundamentals at the Overpeck Park Sports Complex in Palisades Park, New Jersey. AIFL Executive Director Jeff Boucher told the Jewish Link that they are expecting a record registration this season. “There are already 346 kids registered for the spring season and registration is open for two more weeks”, said Boucher. The American Instructional Football League is open to all Bergen County children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Games are played on Sundays only and the spring season runs through June.
