JCC MetroWest Hosts Celebratory Evening

Gala honors inspiring members of the MetroWest community.

(Courtesy of JCC MetroWest) JCC MetroWest is proud to announce our 2022 gala honorees in an evening to celebrate inspiring members in the MetroWest community. Community members Nancy and Jonathan Littman, Maxine, Lee, Jodi Murnick and Amy McKeag, and Jay and Brad Rice will be feted on June 7, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at Crystal Plaza in Livingston.

Kochavim Honorees:

Jonathan Littman, a New Jersey native, is CEO of Jerry Bruckheimer Television and a prolific television producer. He is responsible for some of television’s most successful series, such as the “CSI” franchise, “Without a Trace,” “Cold Case,” “The Amazing Race” and “Lucifer.” Jonathan and Nancy Littman have provided financial support and vision to bring JCC MetroWest’s Jonathan and Nancy Littman Memory Center to reality.

Nancy Littman is a West Orange native. After taking time off to raise her and Jonathan’s children, she shifted careers and is a senior associate at Blais & Associates, LLC, a grant management and consulting firm. Jonathan and Nancy have three children: Hannah, 22; Arin, 20; and Sophie, 17; and live in Los Angeles with their two dogs, Skeeter and Bailey, and Sophie’s cat, Chester.

Women of Valor Honorees:

Maxine Murnick, a resident of Short Hills, holds several leadership roles at Jewish Federation and JCF. Maxine has held a number of key lay leader roles in women’s philanthropy. Since she became involved with Federation and JCF, she has underwritten many programs locally and in Israel. She and her late husband, Ted, have three children—Lee Murnick, Jay (Jodi) Murnick and Amy (Mark) McKeag, all of whom are involved in Jewish community leadership—and five grandchildren. Amy, Jodi and Lee are being honored with Maxine as our Women of Valor.

 

MetroWest Mensches Honorees:

Jay J. Rice is the managing partner in the firm of Nagel Rice, LLP, which he helped found with his lifelong friend Bruce Nagel in 1983. Jay has been actively involved in Jewish charities for almost four decades. He is the husband to Ellen Lewis Rice since 1979, parents to Bradley Rice and Dara Smith, in-laws to Stephenie Rice and Raul Smith, and he and Ellen are grandparents to Ryan Rice, Lilah Rice and RG Smith.

Bradley L. Rice is a partner in the firm of Nagel Rice, LLP. Since 2018, Bradley has been a member of the JCC MetroWest Board of Trustees and since 2020, he has served as the board’s secretary and member of its executive and governance committees. Bradley has lived in Livingston since July 2016 with his wife, Stephenie, son Ryan and daughter Lilah. Both Ryan and Lilah are JCC Early Childhood Center members.

Katy Strulson, JCC MetroWest’s director of community engagement and development stated: “It is such an honor to celebrate and pay tribute to our JCC MetroWest stars. We are fortunate for their leadership and vision.”
