Moriah’s fifth-eighth graders couldn’t wait to join in this year’s Israel Day Parade. The parade was a brand new experience for all students, aside from the eighth graders, so the excitement was palpable. The seventh and eighth graders had the privilege of carrying huge Israeli flags and banners, and a few of fifth graders were thrilled to be carrying The Moriah School banner.
The parade shirts were designed by Kayla Schanzer and Emily Cohen as part of a color war competition over Chanukah. A tremendous turnout from students, faculty and parents! Everyone in attendance was smiling from ear to ear!
