Known for its creativity, Yeshivat Noam walked down Fifth Avenue with pride and a “2 Gezzer with Israel” shemitah theme that paid tribute to the Israeli farmers. Marchers wore farmers hats and “tool belts” and hand-made props represented the fruits of the land. All this was made possible by the creative and dedicated parade committee of Shaindy Brothman, Yael Herman, Tamar Rothenberg, Elizabeth Naor and Rena Zelig. The amazing coordinating props and gorgeous banners were made by Bnei Akiva shlichot Morah Halel and Morah Adi, as well as very talented art teacher Estyn Becker who all worked tirelessly to help Yeshivat Noam shine. Rabbi Hagler could be heard for miles on the megaphone leading the school in proudly singing “Am Yisrael Chai.”
