TABC junior Akiva Schild won Best Actor at the Envision Shakespeare contest last week beating out students from 11 other schools. Envision Shakespeare is an annual interpretation and performance competition between Jewish day schools. Students rehearse the same scene and perform in front of local theater professionals. This year’s event, hosted at SAR, included performances, workshops, Shakespeare trivia and a pizza lunch. Awards were given for Best Scene, Most Creative Interpretation, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Congratulations to Akiva and all the members of TABC’s Envision Shakespeare Company: Ohr Avishur ‘24, Luzzy Junger ‘22 and Amitai Macklin ‘24.
