The Career Summit included an all-star lineup of panelists who are experts in the field of talent management, representing a plethora of knowledge from well-established businesses and consulting firms. The keynote speaker was Gary Belsky, president of Elland Road Partners of NYC and a New York Times bestselling author, who shared knowledge on building a career and strategies on understanding behavioral economics in a complex market. Participants were highly engaged and represented diverse fields. Attendees not only became motivated and energized to take charge of their job growth, they left with a toolbox of practical knowledge that they could implement right away. Jeff Mendelson is the director of employment at Project Ezrah and helped organize the event. He noted that there was an “electricity in the air,” and an almost immediate rapport between panelists and participants and among the participants themselves. The Career Summit took place at Young Israel of Teaneck on July 23. Over 40 professionals received complimentary professional headshots at the event.
A week later, Project Ezrah arranged an amazing night of entertainment. Dueling Pianos struck the right chord (pun intended). The fun event was spearheaded by Dani Secemski, of the Young Leadership Council, with over 200 people in attendance. An elaborate buffet of tapas and an open bar began the evening, followed by words of inspiration from Rachel Krich, the executive director of Project Ezrah. The crowd was regaled by special guest Adriana Rosie, a positive TikTok Creator @nonJewishNanny, not to mention the Dueling Pianos, featuring musical comedy and hit songs! Feeling the energy and camaraderie in the room was a heartfelt experience, as this new generation of leaders are here to help the community by taking Project Ezrah to the next level. The event took place at Keter Torah on August 1.
