The Jewish Link of New Jersey and Gotham Burger would like to recognize RYNJ fourth grader Eytan Kirschenbaum as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The ten-year-old is coming off an amazing MGBL season for the Nina Eizikovitz-Links Residential team. Eytan and the entire team had an impressive run, then fell just short in the championship game. One observer told the JLNJ, “The most impressive thing about Kirschenbaum’s game is his tenacity.” This tenacious play was on display in round two of the playoffs; Eytan led all scorers with 17 points, rebounds and steals.
