Lions Suffer Disappointing Defeat, But Head to Playoffs

On Tuesday May 10, the MTA soccer team finally got the chance to play SAR on home turf. The game started with a goal by freshman Hudy Weiss, which initiated MTA’s lead. MTA continued to charge on, managing to come up with a two point lead (5-3) at the end of the half; the success came from goals by senior David Pando and junior Ariel Feuerstein.

In the third quarter, MTA continued to press, but SAR managed to come back and tie the game 5-5. From then on, the fight continued, but unfortunately, SAR came out victorious, by a final score of 9-7.

This Tuesday, the MTA Lions look forward to their first playoff game versus DRS.
