Nursery students at Chabad of Tenafly’s preschool are learning all about box turtles and decided to share their knowledge with residents at Family of Caring. They explained to the residents that if you want to know the age of a turtle, you can pick a square on her shell and count the rings. They also shared with the residents that a turtle puts all their limbs into their shell when they are scared, cold or sleeping. Albert the bunny joined the visit as well and provided much comfort to the new friends at Family of Caring. Everyone enjoyed learning new things together and spending time with one another!
