Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ) will present a virtual program titled “Israel’s Unique Food Culture—A Virtual Food Tour of Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market” with famed Israeli tour guide Akiva Gersh, Tuesday, February 28 at 3 p.m. via Zoom.
Visit Israel’s most amazing shuk (market) and uncover the story behind Israel’s unique and diverse food culture. Explore how the mass ingathering of the Jews after 1948 brought with it the tastes, colors and smells of cuisines that Jews developed and encountered in their 2,000 years of living in various lands around the globe.
