Last Friday afternoon, the sound of Torah filled the Yavneh Academy hallways, as the students joined together for another great inter-grade learning program. Middle school and lower school students learned together, focusing on this year’s theme of gevura, strength, as Yavneh Academy celebrates 80 years. The students explored the importance of having courage along with strength and shared ideas of ways to show courage. The program ended with students packing mishloach manot for Kosher Troops, Jews in the American army, showing appreciation to the soldiers who show courage and strength every day.
