Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey celebrated the inauguration of the Rabbi Shmuel and Barbara Goldstein Scholarship Fund at their annual scholarship reception on Sunday May 22 with record event turnout. The reception also paid tribute to Rabbi Larry Rothwachs. There was a tremendous feeling of warmth and hakarat hatov for Rabbi and Mrs. Goldstein and Rabbi Rothwachs with moving presentations from past and present faculty, lay leadership, alumni and students.

Over the past 30 years of Rabbi and Mrs. Goldstein’s leadership, the Yeshiva has grown from under 100 students to over 1100, the largest school in Bergen County. The Goldsteins shared commitment to ensuring that every Jewish child has access to an excellent Torah education, regardless of financial status or educational learning style, has been unyielding and inspiring. The Rabbi Shmuel and Barbara Goldstein Scholarship Fund will continue to ensure that no child be turned away from our yeshiva because of financial reasons.
