Tu B’Shevat higiya, chag la’ilanot! KCP children were so excited for Tu B’Shevat! They love to learn all about this exciting (and tasty) holiday! Each class planted seeds and enjoyed exploring the feeling of soil in their hands as they each made their own parsley pots. They counted to 10 as they selected 10 tiny parsley seeds to add to the soil. They are so excited to watch their plants grow in the upcoming weeks. This was also an excellent opportunity to expound on their knowledge of fruits and vegetables and review brachot. The children cannot wait to celebrate all together on Monday at their Tu B’Shvat seder!
