(Courtesy of JFCS) The Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern NJ (JFCS) Corner Market Food Pantry held their “Fresh Start” event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 16. They invited their food pantry clients, and anyone who came—over 100 clients participated—got a bag full of cleaning supplies so they could have a “fresh start” to the new year. Volunteers from the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey and the community came to help with the distribution along with the JFCS staff. The event was sponsored by Diamond Chemical Company Inc. It was a tremendous day of public service, and both clients and volunteers were so happy they could attend!
