The start of the school year couldn’t have been more thrilling for JEC ninth grade students. As part of a fun-filled beginning of the year trip, they had the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable adventure of kayaking and paddle boarding on the picturesque Hudson River. Accompanied by a few experienced SGO chaperones, Rabbi Neuman and Rabbi Zafarani (grade advisor), students immersed themselves in a day filled with fun, games and exciting water activities. This memorable experience not only provided an outlet for physical activity, but also fostered camaraderie and a sense of adventure among our ninth-grade class.
The day was not just about kayaking and paddle boarding—it was a chance for students to decompress, bond with their peers and enjoy some friendly competition. Throughout the trip, interactive games and challenges were organized to keep everyone engaged and entertained. The school extends our gratitude to the SGO chaperones whose presence elevated the experience and made the trip even more memorable.
