West Orange—JCC MetroWest is thrilled to announce a multi-year partnership with AMoney Sportz, the premiere AAU basketball program in Northern New Jersey. AMoney Sportz will be running year-round AAU travel basketball teams, clinics, private and group lessons, enrichment classes, vacation programs, special events and birthday parties at the JCC’s West Orange location at 760 Northfield Avenue. In addition, AMoney Sportz will work closely with all JCC camps, including Camp Deeny Riback in Flanders, NJ.
The partnership will kick off its first program August 22 with a basketball skills week. JCC members and non-members will be able to participate in AMoney Sportz programs. “Last year we launched our new Kids Fitness Center and forged a successful partnership with Teki, LCC and now we are rounding out our offerings for children and families with AMoney Sportz,” says Katy Strulson, Director of the Children and Family division. “We are confident our children will benefit from the experience Coach Marc and the AMoney team will bring to JCC MetroWest.”
“When the JCC in West Orange approached us about a partnership it was frankly a no-brainer for me. We run a great program out of the JCC in Whippany and look forward to doing the same in West Orange,” says Marc Adler, owner of Amoney Sportz, LLC.
AMoney Sportz is considered the premier AAU basketball organization in the area with a mission to provide a higher level of athletics to all ages, in a safe and fun environment. Every athlete has an opportunity to improve their skills by individual instruction in a group setting and to experience life-learning skills and sportsmanship values. AMoney Sportz maintains a balance between teaching, fun, supervision and guidance. Motivating children by positive reinforcement is what Coach Marc and AMoney Sportz believes in. Coach Marc and his staff are known for their unique ability to put a smile on every kid’s face.
