This past Sunday, Yeshivat He’Atid hosted its third annual Scholarship FunRun event. The proceeds of the FunRun benefit the school’s scholarship fund. This year the school raised over $50,000.
Yeshivat He’Atid is one of the only local Yeshivot to fund 100% of its scholarships through voluntary donations. The school was formed on the belief that it is imperative to offer a yeshiva education to all those who seek it, while at the same time maintain affordable tuition for the average family.
Many families came out to the June 19th event at the Bergenfield High School track. Children enjoyed face painting, music, prizes, activities with CMEK, ices, and of course running and walking events.
As Yeshivat He’Atid continues to grow each year, the need for scholarships continues to grow as well. In the fall there will be close to 285 students in the school. This coming September, He’Atid will be moving into its new home at 1500 Queen Anne Road in the heart of Teaneck.
