The Shefa School kicked off their first Chesed Day of the year serving the New York community by helping with park maintenance, mulching and cleaning together with Partnership For Parks, packing and delivering meals with Encore and Project Ore, making home-cooked meals and delivering them to Kenmore hall, and helping the Kips Bay Library by clearing out damaged books.
