During the past week and a half, we have witnessed unprecedented focus and extraordinary efforts to support our global family, our homeland, and our IDF heroes in every way possible. Literally thousands of people in The Jewish Link’s readership community have redefined what “above and beyond” used to mean.

In this photo, and there are surely hundreds like it, we see an IDF unit displaying the blankets and other supplies they received last week due to the amazing efforts of someone who learned precisely what they needed. They immediately established a reliable delivery system and then set up a crowdfunding effort here. After a day and a half, $11,000 was sent!

At the other end a few people shopped for the needed supplies and delivered them in person to the unit within two days. The chalayim were ecstatic, grateful and sent their hakorat hatov in a photo and a short video message.
