At the end of the academic year, the fourth graders at Lubavitch on the Palisades immersed themselves in a unit about business by developing their own business concept, applying to the bank for a loan, creating a logo, making advertisements, bringing in a mock project and presenting it at the end-of-the-year Curriculum Show-case. Teacher Shelli Sussman acted as a Shark (for those of you who watch Shark Tank) and evaluated how their businesses would do in the real world. It was a great experiential learning experience that will surely serve them well in the future.
