Thirteen JEC Lower School educators participated in the Summer Sandbox 2016 (seen here in photo with Principal Rabbi Uzi Beer [far left]). The Summer Sandbox is an opportunity for educators within and outside the IDEA Schools Network to come together and learn in a meaningful way about project-based learning (PBL), creativity and innovation. The goal of the Sandbox is that each attendee walks away with knowledge about how to implement PBL and other innovative pedagogies in the classroom. It is also an excellent way to network with other like-minded and creative educators.
