JKHA Send Coats, Boots And Love to Israel

Since October 7, JKHA has consistently written letters, sent supplies and made cards for different populations in Israel. From the IDF, especially the JKHA/RKYHS alumni IDF, displaced school children and more, each week they focus on sending their thoughts to Israel. This week, early childhood and lower school worked together on a project to help displaced families from the south of Israel. As the seasons change and winter approaches, the school received 100 coats from a generous donor to be distributed to displaced families in Israel. Early childhood classes drew pictures and third and fourth grades made candy packages to accompany each coat. Third and fourth grade students packaged the coats up with the letters and candy so they were ready to be sent to their new owners in Israel.

First through fourth grades classes have also been busy writing letters to soldiers that will be sent inside of boots as part of the Boots for Israel initiative. Boots for Israel helps IDF units get the tactical military boots they so desperately need in a timely manner.
