RYNJ fourth and fifth graders worked hard in STEAM to create a variety of handmade objects to be sold on behalf of two incredible Israel charities: Friends of the Israel Defense Forces and AZM Israel Emergency Relief Fund. Using skills learned in STEAM class, they created everything from homemade napkin rings and hair accessories to bath products, trivets and Shabbos travel kits! They beautifully displayed their wares at an evening pre-Chanukah boutique, raising over $4,000 for these tzedakas. RYNJ is so proud of their resourcefulness and commitment to helping our brothers and sisters in Israel in any way possible.

To kick off Chanukah, the wonderful RYNJ PTA organized a Yoni Z Chanukah and unity concert for RYNJ families. Over 800 attended, and the ruach that filled the air was spectacular! It was truly an unforgettable evening for all.
