The NJ Devils hosted Jewish Community Day at The Prudential Center during Chanukah on December 17. The Lander College for Men Touro University students in Prof. Ira Jaskoll’s Sports Management class attended the event. The Lander students assisted in planning the annual event by submitting proposals to increase Jewish attendance at the event, which was sold out. A highlight of the night was a post-game concert by the Maccabeats. The Yavneh Chorus also entertained the crowd with their own unforgettable performance in front of hundreds.

Next semester Jaskoll will be offering a new course Jewish Sports Management at Lander College for Men, Sports Marketing at Lander College for Women, and Sports Management at Lander College for Arts & Science. For more information, contact [email protected]
