The Chanukah festivities at Tenafly Chabad Academy were spectacular. To kick off the celebrations on Erev-Chanukah, vibrant eighth graders took to the streets of Tenafly, spreading the joy of Chanukah to local stores and businesses. Surprising Jewish shoppers with gifts of Menorahs, candles, dreidels and Chanukah gelt, the mission was to ensure that every member of our community could celebrate the holiday in a meaningful way.
Middle school students embarked on an exhilarating bowling trip, while the adventurous fourth and fifth graders reached new heights at High Exposure—climbing, swinging and relishing every moment. Meanwhile, the younger grades enjoyed the excitement of a bounce house and a carnival, skillfully organized by Students from Sinai. A highlight for all grades was the mesmerizing hypnotist show, with some middle school students delivering particularly entertaining performances under hypnosis.
Seventh graders shared the joy with neighbors and friends at the Family of Caring, engaging in Chanukah games and delightful donut decorating. The middle school showcased their talents in a spectacular talent show, while the younger grades participated in a lively Chanukah Chidon gameshow. Everyone in school was treated to delicious doughnuts to celebrate and the laughter, camaraderie and festive spirit permeated every corner of the school.
