As part of their year long famous artists study in Kindergarten, the children of BPY’s Gan Ilanot began learning about Henri Matisse’s unique way of using scissors and paper to create various collages. The children painted their own paper and then studied various Matisse paintings. Then they got to work with their scissors to create a variety of shapes and designs. Then they planned, placed and pasted their shapes onto their canvas.
