Ohr Yisroel talmidim enjoyed an amazing winter retreat at the Armon Hotel. The outstanding opportunity to connect together as an entire yeshiva was led by beloved rebbe Rav Azzi Kimmel and featured Ohr Yisroel’s all-star rebbeim with a few special guests. Most notable among the guests was Rabbi Moshe Auslander who led a moving kumzitz on the first night of the retreat. The trip featured a trip to the Connecticut Sports Center, ice skating and rock climbing, combined with the tremendous opportunity to learn and chill with the rebbeim. The Winter Retreat has become a tradition at Ohr Yisroel as it brings everyone together off campus for a chance to recharge, reconnect and build on the growth of the first semester as the school approaches the middle of the year. As always, there was top of the line Ohr swag, amazing food and, more importantly, a remarkable sense of achdus throughout the yeshiva.
