On Friday, September 9, in commemoration of the upcoming 15th anniversary of September 11, Ben Porat Yosef fourth- through eighth-grade students had the opportunity to hear from Eric Orgen, BPY parent and member of the Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Lenny Hanauer, of the Teaneck Fire Department. The students learned about the significance of the day and listened to the speakers’ own personal experiences, feelings, insights and perspectives as first responders to this act of terror.
